Life Drawing in a Nudist Colony

This cartoon by Harry LeMay was done experimentally for a pitch to Herb Vallen, the Cartoon Editor for the New Yorker magazine. Although never published, the contact led to Herb's partner, Phil Dickstein, who handled Pfizer and Dome among others, which in turn led to a long series of package design and promotional design work for those two companies. Art careers often follow very strange pathways.
