Back Cover for "Cut of the Cards"
This back cover is one of many designed and illustrated by Harry LeMay while an Assistant Art Director and Designer at Dell Books. It shows both graphic design and illustration. Front covers on the books were usually done on assignment to various illustrators like Milton Glazer, Jim Hill, Seymour Schwast, John Alcorn and many others. Working with these artists, Mr. LeMay designed the fronts, spines, and - as shown here - the back covers for many Dell Paperback Books.
